Invade! - T-Shirt Illustration by Matt 'Iron-Cow' Cauley

This piece was created for the fall line of GREENDOG children’s shirts, sold exclusively at MACY’s.

The initial concept was to produce a graphic tee featuring a video game controller. I couldn’t go retro, but other than that I had free reign. I thought that some alient arms reaching in for the controller would add a little fun, and the art director desided the yellow screens would feature glow-in-the-dark paint. Fun!

Unfortunately, the buyers felt the alien arms were a bit TOO creepy, so this piece never made it into production. Still, the controller itself has been given renewed life in this alternate version. (Not my design, aside from the controller)
