Angel was a bit of a quickie custom. I had an extra X2 Cyclops and I was eager to see how he’d look as Angel. The wings came from a Spawn: Redemption figure and were applied using styrene rods. This allows the wings to rotate, even if they can’t flap.
The head is from a Resident Evil character, I believe. It’s a bit out of scale, but I never got around to finding anything more appropriate. The goggles, though probably unnecessary, came from an Akira Kaneda figure. I pretty much added them just to give the figure a bit of flair and to help break up the monotony of black leather on the X-Men movie shelf.
