Halloween, there couldn’t be a more appropriate night to debut the first-ever Living Dead Dolls Art Show. The internationally anticipated show premieres October 31, 2006 at New York’s famous designer toy gallery The Showroom NYC and Iron-Cow Prod. will be there unveiling a series of 7 brand new paintings!
These one-of-a-kind morbid masterpieces will be on display and for sale at the gallery from 11/1/06 to 11/14/06. A special, invitation only, VIP opening-night gala will be held on October 31st, Halloween night. For more information on this exhibit, click either the image above or by clicking HERE.
I’m extremely excited about how the artwork turned out. If you happen to be in the New York area, be sure to catch the show. Who knows? Maybe you’ll even be inclined to purchase a Matt Cauley original, right? Right!

This month’s issue of TOYFARE MAGAZINE features a huge, double-page Custom Action Figure spread from Iron-Cow Prod. The article features some of DC Comics most famous characters envisioned as toys for children. Of course, in the true ToyFare spirit, the character selection is entirely inappropriate for any child.

Iron-Cow Prod. was recently commissioned to produce a wedding portrait for a couple in the Tri-State area. After the initial client meeting, I expressed to them that I would be interested in pursuing a non-traditional approach to their piece, which they were all too happy with. They had followed my artwork for a few years now, and had wanted an original artwork to cherish for decades to come.
The piece itself measures 30×40 inches and is acrylic painted on canvas. The wedding reception was spectacular, with the painting proudly on display at The Venetian. I began work on the painting over Memorial Day weekend and wrapped it up the morning of the wedding itself. That was definitely a quick turnaround time, but I’m really pleased with the results. The couple loved it, and it now is on permanent display in their home.
