The drawing for this piece was done one afternoon during my lunch break at work. I was sitting on the steps of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, freezing my butt off, but it was completely worth it.
This is perhaps my favorite location in Manhattan to draw crowd scenes. I try to go out to the same spot and draw the crowds for an hour and use the resulting artwork for my holiday cards.
