In the Spring of 2018, I resumed my studies at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) under the tutelage of renowned painter John Parks. With this piece, I wanted to try something a bit more bold and direct, in terms of how I portrayed the model. She was a joy to work with, and had such an unusual look about her.
