This custom I wanted to produce a long time ago, but could never find an appropriate base figure for Ventriloquist.

The Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movie line worked beautifully. I reworked the jacket to become more of a suit, adding lapels and the red bow tie. I then sculpted on the hair and glasses, and then reworked the mouth and eyebrows to remove the last of the original smirk on Dr. Evil’s face.

Scarface’s body comes from a Headstarters Basketball figure. The head and hat are original sculpts, and the gloves came from the ol’ parts box. There’s a handle on the back of him that allows Ventriloquist’s hand to slide in along Scarface’s back.
